almost two decades Dr. Hoi has dedicated his career towards discovering
new and better solutions, mostly for the preservation of our environment.
He is among the most accomplished researcher with the Forest Research
Institute of Malaysia (FRIM). For his dedication and innovativeness,
Dr. Hoi has earned a string of very honorable awards from local
and international agencies. Besides being a gifted researcher, Dr.
Hoi has proven to be a very adept techno-entrepreneur. He has successfully
generated millions of ringgit through R&D projects commercialized
to the industry. Appropriately he has been appointed as FRIM's Director
