| Mark
founded JobStreet.com in 1995. He is a qualified mechanical engineer
from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and University
of Texas, Austin. He has extensive work experience in the technology
and manufacturing sector both in the United States and South East
Asia. Mark's first entrepreneurial foray was MOL.com, the parent
of JobStreet.com, through which he built a very successful "portal"
even before the word "portal" was invented. However, Mark
saw even greater potential for online recruitment services, and
he established JobStreet.com to focus on this business. When he
spun off JobStreet.com successfully in 1997, it flourished and enjoyed
triple-digit growth every year and the turnover was over RM6 million
in 2000. |
