ACHIEVEMENT
 |
Dr. Seah played a key role in the set-up
of the country’s first forensic DNA laboratory in 1994. She has been
instrumental in the introduction of new approaches in DNA testing and the
use of new technologies in the laboratory.
Her PhD. research in
long-term DNA preservation has contributed to a further understanding of DNA
degradation in the dry and particularly in the commercial success of an
invented DNA storage device (Tradename : FTA paper).
She has presented at international forensic genetics conferences
and published papers in international journals, particularly
on the understanding of long-term DNA preservation. |
