She is an inventor to a patent on a novel
Brugia malayi recombinant gene and antigen which has been filed in three
countries and subsequently invented Brugia Rapid kit which is a rapid
dipstick test for detection of brugian filariasis. This test has been
commercialized and is the world-first serological assay for this infection.
